The Nurse Licensure Examination results, conducted on November 11 and 12, 2023, are eagerly awaited, with the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) slated to unveil the outcomes, encompassing passers, topnotchers, and school performance, on December 2, 2023.

Following successful completion of the examination, the PRC is set to announce the commencement of the initial registration process for Nurse Licensure passers. To be included in the Rooster of Registered Professionals, examinees are advised to fulfill specific requirements, including the Notice of Admission/NOA, a duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, two passport-sized ID photos on a white background with the complete name tag, two sets of documentary stamps, and one short brown envelope.

The PRC has already conducted face-to-face oath-taking for new Registered Nurses (RNs), urging successful examinees to register no later than 12:00 noon before the scheduled oath-taking date at http://online.prc.gov.ph. The exact date for face-to-face or virtual oath-taking will be announced later. In addition, inductees must present either their vaccination card or negative PT-PCR results taken within 48 hours prior to the oath-taking schedule, with confirmation of attendance required, whether virtual or face-to-face, in the regions where the licensure examination was taken.

The Nurse Licensure Examination covers various topics, including Community Health Nursing, Care of Healthy/At Risk Mother and Child, and Care of Clients with Physiologic and Psychosocial Alternations. The statistical data from the November 2022 examination indicates a total of 24,903 examinees, with 18,529 passing and a passing rate of 74.40% within 12 days before the release of results.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 25,761 out of 32,203 passed the Philippine Nurses Licensure Examination given by the Board of Nursing in 19 testing centers all over the Philippines last November 2023. The result of examination with respect to one (1) examinee was withheld pending final determination of his/her liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examinations.

On January 15 - 19, January 22 - 26, January 29 - 31, February 1 - 2, February 5 - 9, February 12 - 16, February 19 - 23, February 26 - 29, March 1, March 4 - 8 and

March 11 - 12, 2024, registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to www.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration.  Those who will register are required to bring the following: downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, notice of admission (for identification only), 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag), 2 sets of documentary stamps and 1 piece short brown envelope.  Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
