GMA-7 Primetime Program Posts 11.9% Combined Rating Despite Extensive Free-to-Air Reach

GMA Network's primetime lineup continued to lead the National Urban Television Audience Measurement (NUTAM) ratings on Monday, July 13, with "The Master Cutter," starring Dingdong Dantes, posting a combined television rating of 11.9%, according to the latest data from AGB Nielsen NUTAM.

The figure represents the program's combined audience performance across GMA-7, GTV, I Heart Movies, and Heart of Asia, where the series is simultaneously broadcast.

The latest ratings come as GMA Network maintains one of the country's largest free-to-air television operations, supported by an extensive network of regional stations and nationwide signal coverage. The broadcaster's wide distribution enables its programs to reach millions of television households across the Philippines.

While the 11.9% combined rating was enough to place the program at the top of the primetime rankings for the day, the result has also drawn attention among industry observers, who continue to monitor audience trends amid the growing shift toward digital and on-demand viewing platforms.

In recent years, Philippine television viewing habits have evolved significantly as more viewers consume content through streaming services, social media, and video-sharing platforms. This changing media landscape has prompted broadcasters to strengthen both their traditional television presence and their digital distribution strategies.

Despite increasing competition from online platforms, GMA Network remains one of the country's leading free-to-air broadcasters, with its multi-channel strategy allowing flagship programs such as "The Master Cutter" to reach audiences through several television channels simultaneously.

The 11.9% combined rating reflects the program's measured performance for July 13 under the AGB Nielsen National Urban Television Audience Measurement (NUTAM) system, which tracks television viewership in urban households.
