TV5 Shows Nabubuhay nalang diumano dahil sa ABS-CBN Partnerships?

TV5 unveiled its upcoming programming lineup for the second half of 2026 during its midyear trade event on Thursday, August 6, introducing new entertainment programs, updates to its news offerings, and expanded partnerships within the industry.

Speaking before media representatives and advertisers, TV5 Network Inc. President Guido Zaballero reiterated the network’s commitment to reaching more Filipinos through quality local productions.

“As we continue to grow, our mission remains the same: to bring great Filipino stories to more Filipinos,” Zaballero said.

One of the highlights of TV5’s new entertainment lineup is the daytime romantic-comedy series “Mommy Guard,” which brings together popular 1990s screen partners Marvin Agustin and Jolina Magdangal.

Veteran broadcast journalist Korina Sanchez-Roxas is also returning to the Kapatid Network with her flagship news magazine program “Rated Korina.”

TV5 is likewise strengthening its morning news programming with the launch of “Frontline sa Umaga,” which premiered Monday, August 10, replacing “Gud Morning Kapatid” in the morning timeslot.

The network also announced a new digital partnership between its talent agency, Star Worx, and video-sharing platform YouTube, signaling TV5’s continued push toward digital content and online audiences.

Alongside the upcoming projects, TV5 showcased several programs already part of its current lineup, including “My Bespren Emman,” “A Secret in Prague,” “EAT… Bulaga!,” and “Vibe+.”

TV5 also reaffirmed its partnership with ABS-CBN Studios, which continues to provide co-produced and cross-network programming. Among the programs highlighted under the partnership are “Coco Martin’s Sigabo,” “Someone, Someday,” “Blockbusters sa Umaga,” “Kapamilya Deal or No Deal,” and “Everybody Sing.”

With its expanded entertainment slate, strengthened news programming, and growing digital and industry partnerships, TV5 is positioning itself for a more competitive second half of 2026 while continuing to broaden its presence across traditional television and digital platforms.
