All is set for the highly anticipated suspense series “The Secrets of Hotel 88,” a joint production of ABS-CBN Studios and GMA Network. The project marks another milestone in the continuing collaboration between the country’s two biggest broadcast networks.
A media conference for the series was held on Friday, February 6, led by cast members who first captured public attention as housemates of Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Season 1.
Heading the ensemble are Big Winners Mika Salamanca and Brent Manalo, joined by AZ Martinez, Ralph De Leon, River Joseph, Klarisse De Guzman, Esnyr Ranollo, Xyriel Manabat, Josh Ford, Kira Balinger, Dustin Yu, Bianca De Vera, and Will Ashley.
Directed by Henry Quitain and produced by Star Creatives, the series centers on the Fernandez brothers—Gio (Brent Manalo), Martin (Ralph De Leon), and Francis (Will Ashley). The estranged siblings are unexpectedly reunited after the mysterious death of the father they never knew, only to inherit Hotel 88, a once-grand establishment now steeped in unresolved conflicts and long-buried secrets.
“The Secrets of Hotel 88” marks the fourth co-production venture between ABS-CBN and GMA Network, longtime rivals in television ratings and advertising. Their previous collaborations include Unbreak My Heart, two seasons of Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab, and the airing of ABS-CBN’s noontime show It’s Showtime on GMA’s free-to-air channel.
The suspense series will premiere on television on March 2 (Monday) at 9:35 p.m. on GMA Prime, airing after Never Say Die. Viewers can also stream the show earlier starting February 23 on ABS-CBN’s digital platform iWant.
With its intriguing premise, star-studded cast, and historic network partnership, The Secrets of Hotel 88 is poised to be one of the most talked-about suspense dramas of the year.
